Amazing vacation!

Well, here is one more link to an amazing vacation. We were going on this trip just because we wanted to go and needed to get away and then we realized we had a condo that would accommodate 4 people so we thought - we should invite someone to come. The kids were finishing up at Oklahoma Christian - Mandy with her undergrad and Drew with his masters. They were celebrating one year of marriage and then they were moving away to start their first real jobs. We definitely saw something to celebrate so we ask and after some thought - they said yes they would go with us. Tickets were purchased and we were ready. Just one thing was about to get in the way... they decided to buy a house instead of renting. It was probably one of the smartest things they will ever do! Interest rates were way down and they just so happen to lock in their rate at the very, very bottom! Yeah! They went house hunting in the middle of finishing up school and graduation. It really got crazy but it all fell into place. It came down to the week before moving and they had the truck rented and were ready to load. Well, the call came from the other realtor and the sellers wanted more time before they had to move. ...Panic... Well, they just could not do that because they were in the process of loading - where would they go??? We got it worked out and the sellers were able to find a place to move to and all was good. Whew They moved their things in and had a few days to put things away and off we went on vacation! It was the land of paradise! Only thing is... we were there only 2 days and Mandy stepped on a sea urchin and it really messed up her foot. She had to make a trip to the emergency room but all was not lost! We still had a wonderful time... ate some absolutely wonderful food... saw some amazing sites and had time to relax. They had to leave a couple days early to attend her brother's wedding and they headed home to their house and both started new jobs! It all worked out! Everyone lived happily ever after! Oklahoma's 2010 Realtor of the Year

Dennis received a wonderful award yesterday at the Oklahoma Association of Realtors annual conference in Tulsa Oklahoma.

He was the recipient of the 2010 Oklahoma Realtor of the Year award and it was a huge surprise for him!

They played this video at the awards banquet. It was such a great honor for Dennis to be named Oklahoma's Realtor of the Year. I truly believed he has worked so hard over the years and given so much back to his profession by serving on various committees and as an officer. I am so proud of him!

Such a little Mommy

  This little girl is going to be such a big help to her mommy in about 8 weeks! when her little Sis comes home.  She reminds us of her mommy when she was just about this age too!  We brought her little Sis home and she was sooo much help!  We can hardly wait to see them interact together.  We are sure it will bring back such good memories!

Here's our little Easter Bunny straight from Austin, TX! We were just there this past week and had a really fun time playing with Sienna! She will be 2 in April and we just can't believe it! While we were there, we played a lot, read books and sang songs! We plan on going back to Austin soon - maybe even for Easter weekend! Also, while in Austin, we ate at a fun place called "5 guys hamburgers" and then we went to a place call "Hey Cupcake" for dessert! I think you can guess what we had! They even inject the cupcake with whip cream if you ask them!

We always have fun in Austin - they have such great places to eat! One of our favorites is Shady Grove! We did not go there this time because it was South by Southwest weekend and we figured that it would be an terrible wait time to eat outside since it was so pretty and everyone in the world would be downtown!
